We have sessions of classes geared toward students in 5K-4th grade, and another set for 5th-8th graders. At Merton, we‘ll run two simultaneous sections after school until 5:15 – one for girls and one for boys.
Girls and boys solve problems differently. We celebrate that difference and create a learning environment where every child can take risks, be creative, and foster a love of science, engineering, design, and making.
We’ll walk from the Primary School to the upper level of the Intermediate School for tinkering classes. Parents can meet students in the lobby at 5:15.
Tinker Dynamics modules are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for Engineering Design. Our educators differentiate module STEM activities and Tinker Time opportunities to engage learners at multiple levels along the NGSS Disciplinary Core Idea Learning Progression.
